Who wouldn't want to enjoy a nice Sunrise in Maui? Right now, most of us can't, but the beautiful Royal Hawaiian Maui Sunrise Colocasia could be the plant-based, next-best thing!
Water: Try to keep soil evenly moist. Allow top inch of soil to dry out between waterings. Ensure plant doesn't sit in excess water too long ,as this may lead to rot.
Light: Bright, indirect light to partial shade.
Soil: Light, well draining soil works best.
Humidity: Colocasias love humidity. Mist leaves often or use a pebble tray or humidifier to increase humidity.
Fertilizer: Water once a month with a balanced, slow release fertilizer. Do not fertilize over winter.
Note: While the tags say that it's a Perennial, please note that it is Perennial for zones 7-11 (up to -18). In Niagara, our temperatures can go far lower, so if being planted outdoors, consider digging up its bulbs to take indoors for the winter, or using it as an Annual, or keeping it safe indoors as a houseplant.
