The bright, glossy green leaves of the Dracaena Janet Craig makes this an eye catching addition to any room.
Water: Pay close attention to soil, as these plants can be finicky. Keep soil evenly moist, and allow top 1-2 inches to dry between light waterings. Browning edges is indicative of over or under watering. Dracaena plants are also sensitive to chemicals commonly found in tap water. Best watered with distilled or filtered rain water.
Light: Prefers medium to lower light levels.
Soil: Does best in an airy, well draining potting mix.
Humidity: Fairs well in normal humidity levels.
Fertilize: Fertilize once a month with a balanced, liquid houseplant fertilizer. Do not fertilize over winter.
Tip: Do not repot too often! Dracaena plants flourish when "root-bound", and only benefit from repotting when the roots have filled the current pot nearly entirely.
