Fatsia Japonica is commonly called a Paperplant, or more appropriately, a "glossy-leaf Paper Plant" due to its beautiful large, glossy, hand-shaped leaves.
Water: Allow top 2 inches of soil to dry out, then water deeply. Ensure all excess water is removed. Yellowing leaves is indicative of overwatering.
Light: Thrives with lots of bright, indirect sunlight. Ideally, this plant should receive 6 hours of light a day.
Soil: Well draining, loose soil is best.
Humidity: This plant is a sucker for humidity. Mist often, or use a pebble tray or humidifier to increase humidity and keep your plant happy.
Fertilizer: Fertilize once a month throughout growing season using a dilute solution of houseplant fertilizer.
