Hoya gracilis, also known as a "Wax Plant", is beloved for its long, trailing stems, and leaves which are bedecked in speckles.
Water: Allow top 1-2 inches of soil to dry out between deep watering's. Ensure that all excess water is able to drain away, and that plant isn't sitting in standing water, as this may lead to rot.
Light: The Hoya Gracilis thrives best in bright, indirect light. The more light, the more variegation and colour on the leaves. Lots of light also encourages flowering on these Hoya!
Soil: Does best in a well draining, tropical potting soil. One containing bark, moss, and vermiculite is ideal.
Humidity: Hoya's can tolerate standard humidity levels, but thrive in higher humidity. They will definitely benefit from a daily misting or being placed on a pebble tray.
Fertilizer: Fertilize your hoyas once a month using a dilute solution of liquid houseplant fertilizer. Do not fertilize in winter months.
