An attractive plant, the Hoya Mathilde silver features thick, firm, slightly oblong leaves which features specks of silver. This guy is a great trailing plant, and looks amazing in a hanging basket!
Water: Only water this hoya when it's soil has almost completely dried out. Always ensure that excess was is able to drain away as to avoid root rot.
Light: Thrives with lots of bright, indirect sunlight.
Soil: Does best in a loose, well aerated soil. A mix of peat, bark, and vermiculite is best.
Humidity: Like all hoyas, this guy can handle standard humidity, but fairs better with higher levels of humidity. Mist often or use a pebble tray for best results.
Fertilizer: Fertilize once a month throughout growing season using a dilute solution of liquid plant fertilizer. Do not fertilize over winter months.NOTE: Every plant is different, and may present their colours/variegation differently from the one pictured. Some will quickly develop more variegation when exposed to greater light levels, while others might stubbornly remain more green than anything else. This is normal. Continue to allow your plant access to ample light and it should reward you for your efforts.
