This plant MUST climb to thrive! Only with ample climbing support will it grow new shoots and leaves. If you supply it with a burlap, or moss-wrapped pole/plank, it will show you its climbing enthusiasm
Water: Allow top 1-2 inches of soil to dry out between waterings. (~ every 7-10 days). Always ensure that excess water is able to drain away in order to avoid rot.
Light: Bright, indirect to medium light. Can also handle lower levels of light, but you may notice stunted growth.
Soil: Use a well draining, aerated potting medium. A mix of peat, bark, sphagnum moss, and perlite is best.
Humidity: Enjoys high levels of humidity. Great for bathrooms, or near a humidifier. Mist often.
Fertilizer: Fertilize with a balanced water soluble houseplant fertilizer once a month throughout growing season. Do not fertilize in winter.
