An absolutely gorgeous rare philodendron, the Dark Lord features leaves which start out as orange, which then changes to blood red, before finally settling on a dark green top and a maroon underside.
Water: Water moderately when top inch of soil is dry. Ensure this plant does not sit in standing water, as this may lead to rot.
Light: Philodendrons love bright, indirect sunlight. The more light they recieve, the better they will grow.
Soil: Use a well draining ptoting mix. One containing peat, bark, sphagnum moss, and perlite is ideal.
Humidity: Philodendrons love humidity. Use a pebble tray, humidifier, or mist often.
Fertilizer: fertilize once a month using a balanced, water soluble tropical fertilizer. Do not fertilize over winter months.
