Also known as a Monstera Deliciosa (these came to us labeled as Philodendron Splitleaf) is interesting since it only develops the trademark splits/fenestrations in its leaves once the plant matures, and so long as the plant receives adequate light.
- It botanical name is Thaumatophyllum bipinnatifidum, and it used to be classified as a Philodendron bipinnatifidum or as a Phillodendron Selloum.
- Bright, indirect light is what this plant needs to not only grow and mature, but also for its leaves to form the splits it has been named after.
- Water moderately when the top 2" of soil is dry to the touch, and allow the water to drain away from the plant.
