Pilea Depressa can also be known as "Depressed Clearweed", and even as "Baby Tears", despite the plant not being related to "proper" Baby's Tears: Soleirolia soleirolii.
- This pilea's leaves are a bright, almost neon green, with scalloped edges. This plant can be used as ground cover in terrariums, or as a hanging plant.
- Pilea Depressa thrives best when provided with lots of bright, indirect light. It can also handle small amounts of direct sunlight, however too much will cause its leaves to burn.
- Water when most of the Pilea's soil has dried (about 2-3" from the top), and allow any excess water to drain away.
