Pilea Depressa can also be known as "Depressed Clearweed", and even as "Baby Tears", despite the plant not being related to "proper" Baby's Tears: Soleirolia soleirolii. This pilea's leaves are a bright, almost neon green, with scalloped edges. This plant can be used as ground cover in terrariums, or as a hanging plant.
Water: Allow top 2-3 inches of soil to dry out between waterings. Ensure any excess water is able to drain away.
Light: This plant thrives best when given plenty of bright, indirect sunlight. Too much direct light can lead to burn.
Soil: Does best in a light, well draining potting mix.
Humidity: These guys like a bit of humidity. Mist often or keep near a humidifier.
Fertilizer: Fertilize once a month throughout growing season. Don't fertilize throughout winter months.
