Polka Dot Plants are a relatively common, but beloved houseplant due to its vibrant colours which have just the right kind of "pop"!
Water: Water regularly, keep soil moist, but not too wet. Water less in winter. Yellowing and dropping leaves is indicative of too much water. Dropping leaves (with no yellowing) is a sign of underwatering.
Light: These plants thrive with plenty of bright, indirect sunlight. They can tolerate lower levels of light, but you may notice loss of colour and variegation.
Soil: Does best in loose, airy, well draining potting soil.
Humidity: Likes higher humidity. Mist often, use a pebble tray, or keep near a humidifier for best results.
Fertilizer: Fertilize once every two weeks throughout growing season. Do not fertilize in winter.
Tip: Pinching back stems will help to keep the plant from getting too "leggy" (too much stem, and not enough leaf). Pinch back around once a week.
