This is a red version of the ever-popular Prayer Plant, whose leaves will be flat during the day, but will rise up and appear like praying hands at night.
Water: Water frequently throughout summer months, and take care not to allow soil to dry out. To avoid root rot, ensure plant is not sitting in water.
Light: Thrives in bright, indirect sunlight.
Soil: Prefers acidic soil, but does well in any potting soil as long as it has good drainage.
Humidity: Thrives in higher levels of humidity. Mist often, or keep in a more humid area.
Fertilizer: Fertilize once a month throughout growing season.
