Who would have thought that you could have a cactus in a hanging basket, and for it to work out really, really well! Rhipsalis Salicornioides is a great hanging plant, as it grows many long, many "fingered" offshoots, and small spines. Its flowers are fragrant, and a nice, soft white. Easy to care for, and interesting to look at!
Water: It is best to give succulents a heavy watering every 3-4 weeks. The frequency of watering may vary based on temperature, or amount of sun it receives.
Light: Thrives with plenty of bright, indirect sunlight. Bright morning or evening light is best.
Soil: Ensure this succulent is planted in a loose, well draining potting mix.
Humidity: Succulents don't fair too well with higher humidity. Keep away from humid areas.
Fertilizer: Fertilize once a month using a tropical or houseplant fertilizer. Do not fertilize over winter.
