Easy going and striking, snake plants are hugely popular for a good reason! They're happy with any light level, and are incredibly tolerant of drought. Great for beginners, or those who have trouble remembering to water regularly.
Laurentii Sansevieria are known for the bright yellow edging on their long, straight, strong, curvy leaves.
Water: Water deeply when soil is completely dry, and allow any excess water to drain away. Take care and make sure you don't over water your sansevieria, as they are susceptible to root rot.
Light: Does best in bright, indirect sunlight, but can handle any level of light as long as it's not in complete darkness.
Soil: Use a light, well draining potting soil.
Humidity: Does fine in standard house humidity.
Fertilizer: Apply a balanced fertilizer at half strength monthly throughout growing season. Do not fertilize over winter months.
Tip: Remember to wipe your Sansevieria's leaves with a damp cloth every now and then to help remove dust.
