One of the less common "string of" plants, the String of Needles is an enthusiastic trailing plant whose thin, sharp-looking green leaves bring to mind the needles on a coniferous tree. Its full scientific name is: Ceropegia linearis E. Mey
Water: Water when 1/3 of soil is dry. Allow any excess water to drain away. This plant is classified as a semi succulent, and therefore does not handle drought too well.
Light: Thrives in bright, indirect sunlight.
Soil: Prefers loose, gritty potting medium, with ample drainage
Humidity: Does fine in standard humidity, but the occasional misting will not hurt!
Fertilizer: Fertilize once a month using a dilute solution of liquid houseplant fertilizer. Do not fertilize over winter months.
