Refund policy
Plant Guarantee
Rice Road Greenhouses offers the following guarantee on plants:
Nursery Stock: 2 Years
Perennials: Only for the current growing season
Roses, Grasses and Clematis: Only for the current growing season
Tree Plantings and Deliveries: None
Tropicals and Hardy Tropicals: None
Annuals: None
Houseplants: None
Arrangements: None
Rice Road Greenhouses and Garden Centre will happily honor any valid warranty claims for the above applicable items, provided that the claimant brings:
For in-store, or phone-in purchases:
Proof of purchase. This can be in the form of a physical or emailed receipt, an order number, or your saved receipt linked to your personal customer account. Your customer account will allow us to locate your receipt if it is lost.
The actual damaged plant/tree/item. Please bring the plant up to our Customer Service desk (Should you require assistance bringing the item in, please don't hesitate to let us know). If physical return is not possible, please provide and supply us with photos of the affected items.
For Online store purchases send the following to sales@millionplants.com:
The Order Number for the purchase. This number is included in your online email receipt, but we can also use the PayPal Transaction ID should one be available. Should there be no order or transaction ID, please provide a screenshot or digital photo showing the date/time and payment line information of any debit/credit payments made to Rice Road Greenhouses. (Unrelated information can be blacked-out, or obscured).
Digital images of the damaged/affected purchased items. Please take and include images of any/all affected items, especially if there had been damage during transit.
Once warranty claim is confirmed, you will receive the choice of:
(a) a refund in store credit
(b) a replacement item sent, or made available to you (if stock is available)

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as bouquets, cut flowers, or cuttings), custom products (such as special orders or personalized bouquets), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received your request, and inspected your return, if applicable. We will then contact you to let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
Final Note:
If refunds are to be issued for eligible online store purchases, the refunds must be requested within 30 days of the original purchase. Purchases made with cash must have a physical receipt in order for us to look into refunding/crediting purchases.
